Cookie Policy

Last updated: May, 14th, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Kaaluna (“we,” “us,” “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on kaaluna.com (the “Platform”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

By using the Platform and choosing your preferences in our cookie banner, you agree to the use of cookies as described here. You can change your choices at any time.

1. What Cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember things about your visit, such as your preferences and how you use the site. We also use similar technologies, including pixels and local storage, which we refer to together as “cookies” in this policy.

Cookies can be set by us (first-party cookies) or by third parties whose services we use (third-party cookies). They can be session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device for a set period.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for a small number of clear purposes. We try to keep the list short and review it regularly.

Essential cookies. These are necessary for the Platform to work. They handle things like loading pages, securing the site, remembering your cookie preferences, and keeping you logged in once accounts are available. The Platform will not function properly without them. These cookies do not require your consent under EU law.

Analytics cookies. These help us understand how visitors find and use the Platform, which pages are popular, and where things can be improved. We use this information in aggregate, not to identify individuals. We only set analytics cookies if you agree to them.

Preference cookies. These remember choices you make, such as your language or region, so the Platform feels consistent across visits. We only set preference cookies if you agree to them.

We do not currently use cookies for advertising or for cross-site tracking. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting any new cookies.

3. Specific Cookies We Use

The table below describes the main cookies the Platform sets. The exact list may change as we add or remove tools. Where this happens, we will update this policy.

Cookie: [cookie name] | Provider: Kaaluna | Purpose: Stores your cookie preferences | Type: Essential | Duration: 12 months

Cookie: [cookie name] | Provider: Kaaluna | Purpose: Session security | Type: Essential | Duration: Session

Cookie: [cookie name] | Provider: [Analytics provider] | Purpose: Measures Platform usage in aggregate | Type: Analytics | Duration: [Duration]

Cookie: [cookie name] | Provider: [Provider] | Purpose: Remembers language preference | Type: Preference | Duration: [Duration]

We will complete this table with the actual cookies in use before the Platform goes fully live, and we will keep it accurate as the Platform evolves.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some pages of the Platform may include content from third parties, such as embedded videos, maps, or sign-up forms. These third parties may set their own cookies when you interact with their content. We do not control these cookies, and we recommend reviewing the third party’s own cookie and privacy policies for more information.

Where a third-party tool sets non-essential cookies, we will only load it after you have given your consent.

5. Managing Your Cookie Choices

You can manage your cookie preferences in two ways.

Through our cookie banner. When you first visit the Platform, you will see a banner asking which categories of cookies you want to allow. You can change your choices at any time by clicking the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the Platform.

Through your browser. Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. You can also set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being set. The Help section of your browser explains how. Note that blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the Platform from working as intended.

For more general information about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your device and how to manage and delete them, you can visit www.allaboutcookies.org.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal that tells websites you do not want to be tracked. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to this signal. The Platform does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, but you can manage tracking through the cookie banner as described above.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add new tools or remove old ones. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when the most recent changes were made. Where the changes are material, we will let you know through a notice on the Platform.

8. Contact
